You came into my life like,

The sun after heavy rain in the morning.

Feels like a dream; I’ve never felt this way before,
Melting me softly, like glaciers,

By your kindness, called sunrays.

You colored my soul with a rainbow called love,
Filling the empty canvas of sorrow with the art of life.
You gave me your hand to hold on to forever,
And I held you close to me, like a dragonfly to a flower.

You made me feel like a wildflower, rare and precious,
Unlike those, ordinary and gorgeous. 
My heart was heavy and low, 

Like a ship sunk deep in the ocean.

But then you smiled,
And I felt like I was the chosen one.

Your words encouraged me,
Lifting me high as a mountain.
I’m never going to lose you and that’s certain.
