Heart attained placidity

Through nature and relations,

But the thing that

Satisfied my soul was service.

It was a one-way,

Where I didn’t expect anything in return,

In the era of selfish,

I enjoyed the bliss of selfless.

Luxuries became trifling,

Mirth pervaded around,

Eyes radiated with hope of humanity,

And yes service was the reason.
